“Restoring Rhonda” is a puzzle game, like many others but with a story background. Naturally, the protagonist is Rhonda.
The game basically consists in creating matches of three-in-a-row pieces on a board, by swapping the tokens. Two modes are available: classic swap (the tokens to swap have to be adjacent), or Free Swap (you can swap tokens anywhere in the board without the requisite to be adjacent). You can create different kind of matches. If you create horizontal matches you get bronze coins. If you create vertical matches you get silver coins. If you create combos, you get golden coins and some bonus score. Every time you create a match, those tokens are cleared out from the board, and the background is cleared. When you cleared all the backgrounds of the board, you finish the level obtaining a certain tool to help Rhonda restore an art piece.
When you first enter the game, you’ll see the welcome screen with the following options on it:
- Change User: the first time there’s no existing player. After you create one or more, they’ll be saved. When you enter into this submenu, you’ll be asked for a name as a new player. It’s possible to have a list of different players and record their performance. This way, you can play home tournaments with family and friends.
- Azuba Game: from here you can start a new game. You’ll be seeing a game mode selection screen.
- Options: Configure sound and display settings.
- Exit: Click to close the game and return to the desktop.
